"Located in Hackney, East London, this unique space was conceived and inspired by Tim Soar, the internationally renowned architectural photographer. The concept of the Studio was to create an area that could be a photographic studio or an exhibition gallery. The first exhibition at the Lionworks Studio featured photographs of leading architects actually taken when they were working in their practices.
We designed the lighting for this exhibition with the intention of making the system as flexible as possible. It was essential that the new lighting system provided suitable lighting not only for this exhibition but also for a spectrum of shows that were planned for the future. We lit the exhibition with low voltage 20 watt MR16 narrow spot lamps installed in spotlights with an integral transformer into 3 circuit 230 volt lighting tracks suspended from the ceiling."
